We ask for as little as we can, we use it to answer your enquiry, and we don’t sell it to anyone. The detail is below.

What we collect

Only what you type into our enquiry or quote forms: your name, your phone number, your email address, and whatever you tell us about your project. If you ring or email instead, we hold whatever you send us that way.

What we use it for

To reply to you, to prepare a quote, and to carry out the work if you go ahead. Nothing else. We don’t add you to a mailing list, we don’t pass your details to other trades or suppliers for marketing, and we never sell data to anybody.

How long we keep it

What you send through the forms is held on our website’s servers, behind a password, and is removed automatically twelve months later. Enquiries that don’t turn into work are deleted sooner once there’s no realistic chance of hearing from you again. Records connected to work we’ve actually carried out are kept longer, because tax and insurance rules require it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us and we’ll deal with it. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This site doesn’t set tracking cookies and doesn’t run advertising or analytics profiling. The only outside service it calls is Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces the pages are set in.
